Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of this position is to implement patient treatment under the supervision of Registered Occupational Therapists as required.
Scope of Responsibility
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide excellent patient treatments and complete other diverse duties under the supervision of the OTR, and appropriately complete documentation in compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Must be a graduate of an AOTA approved school with Associate Degree in O.T.
- Current State of Texas licensure is required with certification by AOTA
- One year of clinical experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant preferred
- Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
