Volt is immediately hiring an Electrical Wiring Technician in West Chester, Ohio.

As an Electrical Wiring Technician you will :
- Installs electrical wiring systems for, switchgears, UPS, panelboards, lighting, switches, outlets and transformers
- Installs conduits, electrical wires, and cables
- Ensures conduit install complies with electrical codes
- Installs Ladder cable trays, and Basket cable trays
- Installs Circuit breaker and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them
- Installs power feeders to equipment’s
- Installs branch circuits
- Inspects electrical systems to ensure proper installation is up to code
- Installs low voltage / control wiring
- Terminates power feeders (compression lugs), branch circuits, and control wiring
- Performs other related duties as assigned
This is a Full-Time opportunity.
The ideal Electrical Wiring Technician candidate will have :
- Able to read blueprints
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledgeable in the NEC Code
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of formal apprenticeship is preferred, and electrician’s license preferred.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders
- Capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits, and cable trays
- Able to lift to 50 pounds at a time
Hours are Monday-Friday 5am-1 : 30pm
Pay Rate : $25.00 an hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
