Description
- Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day on-site activities and ensuring project timelines are met.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure efficient work flow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety standards and quality control.
- Monitor material deliveries and equipment to ensure proper usage and storage.
- Help prepare daily reports, logs, and project documentation as required.
- Ensure adherence to all NYC building codes and regulations.
- Support in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
Profile
- 2+ years of experience in construction, preferably with a General Contractor in NYC.
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.) is a plus.
- Valid NYC SST card.
