We are currently seeking a qualified Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel position in Utica, NY.
Job Description :
As a Travel CST, you will assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, handling surgical instruments, and providing support to the surgical team.
This role involves ensuring that all instruments and supplies are sterile and readily available, and assisting with patient positioning and preparation.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and providing support during operations
- Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure
- Position and prepare patients for surgery
- Assist with patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records
Requirements :
- NBSTSA Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CST experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Excellent munication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to travel
