About the Role :
As a Focused Therapy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating adult and / or child patients with a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and more.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnoses.
Provide individual and group therapy to patients with diverse needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
Deliver crisis intervention services as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Participate in staff conferences and case consultations.
Qualifications : Must Have :
Must Have :
Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare (clinical track), Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Valid California license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC (with LPCC Couples and Families Endorsement within 24 months of hire).
Active Medicare enrollment (not opted out).
Experience working with severe mental health patients.
Strong understanding of DSM-V diagnostic criteria.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred :
Several years of post-licensure experience in the field.
Bilingual capabilities.
Residency in Fremont, CA, or surrounding areas.
EMDR specialty.
