Sr. Instructional Designer

So, what does a TaskUs Sr. Instructional Designer really do? Think of yourself as an Architect for TaskUs clients, helping to build a roadmap, plan, and ultimately execute.

You are also able to balance the needs of your customers against operational targets while at the same time providing world-class service and satisfaction.

• Meet with Subject-Matter Experts to conduct Front End Analysis / Task Analyses and document content-specific knowledge to support training development
• Determine the level of effort required for all aspects of development
• Design and develop all training content (instructor slides, handbooks, scripts, storyboards, web-based training decks, interactivity modules, quizzes, activities, etc.)
• Create assessments per the defined assessment strategy
• Supports facilitation of answer validation sessions for fully defensible and aligned assessments as directed by the Training Program Manager
• Review training content created by other team members
• Assist with onboarding and upskilling new Learning Experience Consultants

Minimum qualifications

• BA / BS degree in Learning Development, Instructional Design, Education, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of Instructional Design / Curriculum development experience
• At least 2 years of experience reviewing the work of others for quality and consistency
• Experience working with fast-paced cutting-edge technologies
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with documentation, technical writing, and narrative scripting.
• Tolerance and enthusiasm for working with ambiguity and change.
• Experience with e-learning authoring software; i.e. Articulate storyline, Evolve for course development.
• Proven excellence in developing fully ADA-compliant training deliverables.
• Experience in corporate education

Preferred qualifications

• Experience identifying training needs, defining, and building scalable training solutions to address the needs of a diverse international audience
• Experience using e-learning tools (i.e. Articulate, Captivate) to create training content
• Experience migrating training courses into Intellum or other LMS
• Solid experience planning for and managing several large-scale, complex training projects and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to deliver quality training materials within deadlines;

excellent relationship building, collaboration, consultation, and influencing skills.

• A team player with a positive attitude; excellent written and oral business communication and people skills.
• Video editing such as Premier, Finalcut, Camtasia, etc.
• Learning Management System - Intellum Exceed LMS
• SQL queries and visualization of key performance metrics
• Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides, Buganizer, Guts in assessments, support, and QA
