• What’s a typical day as a senior financial / accounting analyst? You’ll be : Ensuring accounting issues are appropriately identified, analyzed, and documented and reported in external reports and internal presentations* Utilizing knowledge of technical accounting matters, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP , and SEC regulations to effectively and efficiently perform reporting requirements and assist the Company in ensuring reporting compliance* Completing or assisting with the creation of ad hoc analysis, reports and other projects* Assisting in preparation of the monthly internal financial reporting package* Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations and month-end process* Reviewing and validating reconciliations and making suggestions for improvements* Assisting with complex accounting areas, including stock-based compensation, derivatives and other financial instruments, acquisitions, asset retirement obligations AROs , legal accruals, revenue recognition, and leases* Regularly interacts with the Corporate and Field organizations to assist in the identification, analysis and research of technical accounting issues* Assisting with the implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements, including the new revenue and leasing standards.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports that include financial statements, footnotes and other financial information filed with, or furnished to, the Securities and Exchange Commission SEC such as 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, proxy statements, registration statements and annual reports;

maintains related documentation* Assisting with maintaining processes and procedures related to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 SOX* Ability to work remotely with residency in Arizona* Relocation assistance can be provided*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting* Public accounting experience*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, MBA, or related disciplines* Certified Public Accountant (CPA)* Knowledge of technical accounting matters, GAAP and SEC regulations* Proficiency in major ERP database and Essbase reporting tool *What happens next*Once you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
