This business leader will support our Analog Mixed Signal Group (AMG). AMG designs and develops power management and sensor interface integrated circuits targeting the Automotive, Industrial, and Cloud / Computing end markets.
This specific role will be focused on the strategic business development for our Automotive market with focus in North America and European regions.
This position is seated in Scottsdale, AZ, and also be seated in San Jose, CA
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand, analyze & identify opportunities and applications in the automotive market segment.
- Leverage market understanding to create a business strategy and drive profitable growth.
- Create and evangelize a compelling vision for value-add system solutions based on differentiated products and technology and drive internal and external alignment to that vision.
- Collaborate with System Architects to define market and system solution requirements, highlighting key semiconductor product opportunities.
- Champion a system solution mindset and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and deliver IC product roadmaps that support revenue growth targets and financial objectives.
- Anticipate and shape market trends and standards.
- Meet or exceed revenue and standard margin goals.
- Achieve design win targets across all ASG product lines.
- Partner with product planning and development teams to ensure products meet critical customer specifications and timelines.
- Engage with ecosystem partners to develop compelling system solutions based on onsemi technology.
- Contribute towards driving the company’s success and achieving vision in intelligent power and intelligent sensing.
The Candidate
Skills and Experience Deep market knowledge and experience growing a profitable power and sensor interface business in the Automotive segment.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly build an in-depth technical and market understanding across a breadth of semiconductor technologies and market segments.
Strong relationship with ecosystem partners. Excellent cross-functional leadership, motivational and communication skills.
Product management, customer interface, systems solutions and design winning experience is a must.
Shaping strategy Proven track record in creating and articulating a compelling and inspiring vision for the organization.
Demonstrated ability to formulate, communicate and execute business strategies.

Qualifications
- Significant operating experience, 10+ years leading and growing profitable power and sensor interface business in the automotive segment.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Master’s degree in engineering or computer science and MBA a plus.
- Significant work experience in strategic business partnerships.
- Willing to travel up to 30%.
