Advanced Crisis Intervention Therapist, LMSW

Join a compassionate team as an Advanced Crisis Intervention Therapist providing essential clinical services to a diverse client base in the Midwest region. This role involves conducting thorough risk assessments, including mental status exams, and delivering timely, effective crisis interventions aimed at symptom reduction and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement crisis plans and provide short-term crisis resolution and debriefing.
• Coordinate care with families, significant others, and community systems such as education and child welfare.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation reflecting all service provisions.
• Participate actively in fostering respectful and supportive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Education : Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

Experience : Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years of experience working with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), serious mental illness (SMI), or seriously emotionally disturbed (SED) populations. Experience integrating care with other providers and supervising clinicians pursuing licensure is highly valued.

Licensure and Certifications : Must hold a BSRB license at the master's level and be qualified as a Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Completion of DCF Health Assessment and possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation are required. Substance Use Disorder licensure and clinical level licensure by BSRB are preferred.
