The VA Fayetteville NC Coastal Healthcare System provides health care services to approximately 80,000 Veterans in a 19-county area of southeastern North Carolina.
Our facilities include the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, two health care centers one in Fayetteville and one in Wilmington, 9 outpatient clinics.
The Fayetteville VA Medical Center, is seeking a BC / BE Primary Care Physician for the Women's Health Clinic! Patient appointments are scheduled in 30 minute increments for Follow-up patients and 1 hour for intake patients.
The Women's Health Clinic provides the following services :
- Health screening
- Blood pressure screening
- Cholesterol screening
- Breast exam
- Pelvic exam
- Pap smear
- Hormone / contraceptive therapy
- Women specific patient education
- Hormone / contraceptive therapy
- Work schedule : Monday-Friday 8-4 : 30 pm, no weekends or call
- Approximately 1K female veteran patient panel; 8 12 patients daily on average

Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment) : Position eligible for up to $200,000 over 5 years with a maximum of $40K per year.
Paid Time Off : 50-55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
Retirement : Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
