We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Lathe Operator for our bay area facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials.
The position also requires familiarity with CNC programming, MasterCAM, Gcode, G10 offsets, tooling, fixturing, CMM, and the CNC machining industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials
- Program CNC machines using MasterCam, Gcode, G10 offsets, and other programming software
- Use appropriate tooling and fixturing to ensure parts are produced correctly and efficiently
- Perform quality control tasks using CMM or other inspection methods
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the machines are operating properly
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the CNC machining industry
- Excellent knowledge of MasterCam programming
- Experience with multi-axis screw machines and CNC lathes
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of precision machining and tooling / fixturing
