Job Opening - Superintendent

Position Status : Full Time

Supervise & Self- Perform

Regular Work Hours : 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Accountable to : Project Manager & Operations

Accountable for : Subcontractors, Carpenters & Laborers

Overview of Responsibilities :

• Managing, scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare overall job schedules and 3 week look ahead schedules and be able to meet or exceed those schedules.
• Actively seek new ways to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
• Produce work in the time frames set forth by owners and project managers.
• Use diplomacy and tact when dealing with owners, architects and engineers.
• Solve challenges and onsite issues with help from design team.
• Complete carpentry and self-perform work when needed.
• Follow all local, state and OSHA safety rules and regulations mandated.
• Follow all procedures set forth by HCI handbook.
• Able to communicate with owners and architects.
• Skills : Good written and verbal communication skills; proficient in reading and understanding drawings and specifications;

proven past experience; supervising & leadership skills; good computer skills

Characteristics : Neat; thorough; reliable; dedicated; accurate; organized; self-motivated / driven person; problem solver;

decision-maker; and good communicator.
