Job Description :
- Work on the oncology floor, providing care to patients with various diagnoses.
- Manage patients with solid tumors, most frequently lung, breast, and colon cancer.
- Care for patients diagnosed with leukemia, lymphomas, and myeloma.
- Provide specialized care for gynecologic malignancies, primarily ovarian and cervical cancer.
- Assist with cancer symptom management including febrile neutropenia and uncontrolled pain.
- Administer care for sickle cell anemia and other hematologic diseases.
- Post-operative care for mastectomy and gynecological oncology procedures.
- Assist with medical / surgical overflow patients.
