About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Oncology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00), Monday - Friday Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Oncology, gynecology, chemotherapy, and ambulatory triage experience preferred.
Must have completed two years of experience within the last three years. Experience in an oncology clinic can involve working 2 days a week in the clinic and the rest in triage.
License : Must have a nursing license from WI or a compact license from the permanent address state. Certifications : Must be certified in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
OCN (Oncology Certificate Nurse), ONS (Oncology Nursing Society), or APHON (Association of Pediatric Hematology / Oncology Nurses) required.
Must-Have : License in hand upon submission. Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years is a strict requirement.
Two professional references needed upon submission. Job Description : Assist in triage for a specific gynecology / oncology population.
- Support the management of patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for pelvic floor conditions.- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent and positive patient outcomes.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families.- Be prepared to float to different units as needed, depending on staffing requirements.
- Participate in orientation and comply with all scheduling instructions. Additional Information : Orientation consists of 20 hours and is mandatory.
- Flu vaccine required, with medical / religious exemptions considered.- Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from the assigned primary worksite.
- Acceptance of first-time travelers.
