Recruiting Specialist

Kansas City, Missouri Onsite Must live within reasonable commuting distance

Our gas, power, utility client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Specialist to join their growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the complete recruitment process, ensuring the satisfaction of hiring managers, candidates, new hires, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Recruiting Specialist :

• An understanding of sourcing channels, technologies, and interest in learning about emerging trends in talent acquisition
• Build a network of potential candidates through talent communities (Workforce Centers, Job Fairs, Community Colleges, Local Meetups, Community Events)
• Work with local resources to partner with associations related to building talent pipelines
• Build strong relationships with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers and HR Business Partners to ensure hiring needs are met
• Monitor and manage individual performance to metrics

Requirements of the Associate Recruiting Specialist :

• 1 year recruiting experience preferred or interest in growing in talent acquisition space. Customer service experience required.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and engaging diverse talent
• ATS experience preferred
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships. Strong time management skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize their day.

Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence

Education

Associate degree required or equivalent experience.
