Job Description
The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the entire facility, including troubleshooting and maintaining PLC systems.
This role involves addressing issues with building functions such as chillers, boilers, HVAC, and water systems in commercial or industrial settings.
Additionally, the technician will handle minor tasks around the facility, such as snow removal and unclogging toilets. All necessary tools will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on PLC systems.
- Address issues with building functions, including chillers, boilers, HVAC, and water systems.
- Conduct minor facility upkeep tasks, such as snow removal and unclogging toilets.
- Ensure the proper functioning of building automation systems.
Essential Skills
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance.
- Proficiency in HVAC systems.
- Experience with boilers and chillers.
- Understanding of building automation systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- EPA Universal certification for HVAC is a plus.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
- Knowledge of cleanroom environments.
- Skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and industrial repair.

Work Environment
This role is set in an industrial cleanroom environment where candidates will need to wear a full protective cleanroom suit.
Facial hair and piercings are allowed. The technician will be trained as part of a team but will work mostly independently after training.
The shift is 1st shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
