Job Overview - Field Nurse Supervisor (RN) :
Join our trusted healthcare client in the Bronx, NY, as a Field Nurse Supervisor. This full-time role involves directing and supervising the agency's paraprofessional staff and private duty nursing services to provide personalized home health care for older adults.
Compensation : $115,000 - $125,000 / year
Location : Bronx, NY
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Responsibilities as the Field Nurse Supervisor :
- In-Field Supervision : Provide professional supervision and on-the-job training to home health aides, personal care aides, and nursing staff.
- Competency Testing : Assist with classroom and field competency testing for the team.
- Assessments : Conduct in-home visits to assess the quality of care provided and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Compliance : Ensure all staff adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal policies, conducting periodic audits of care documentation and patient progress.
Qualifications for the Field Nurse Supervisor :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related health or human services field.
- Licensure : New York State Registered Professional Nurse license required.
- Experience : 1+ year in an Acute Care setting required (Home Care Nursing experience preferred).
- Skills : Strong knowledge of healthcare practices, effective communication, and organizational skills, with an ability to train and supervise staff.
