About The Position
A healthcare facility in Colorado is looking for a Family Medicine / Internal Medicine provider to join their team on a locum tenens basis!
Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Primarily adults, with occasional pediatric patients
- Average volume of 16 patients per day (20-minute appointments)
- Team-based care with RN, MA's, behavioral health, case manager, and patient navigators
- Charting System : EPIC
Cases and Procedures
- Types of cases include chronically ill patients (heavy Medicare / Medicaid patients)
- Mole removal, toenail removal, IUD placements (preferred but not required), diabetes, and high blood pressure management
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 8 AM - 5 PM (with a 1 PM lunch hour)
- No call requirements
Requirements
- Family Medicine (preferred), Internal Medicine, or Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified in Family Medicine
- Colorado medical license
- BLS and DEA certifications
- Minimum 36 months of experience (5+ years preferred for NPs / PAs)
