Logistics Operations Coordinator
General Summary & Scope
- Serve as the primary contact for contracted carriers, retail stores, and distribution centers.
- Perform daily tracking and tracing of carriers.
- Proactively follow up as needed to ensure optimal service results.
- Communicate any potential service failures to relevant parties (i.e., supervisor, carrier, store).
- Follow up with stores to ensure specialized deliveries occur as scheduled.
- Tender outbound loads to contracted carriers through TMS (E2Open) as necessary.
- Generate various intermediate-to-advanced reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Audit carrier and delivery schedules for accuracy.
- Answer customer service hotline and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as requested.
