Clinical Assistant Professor

Position OverviewThe University of Kansas, Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic invites applications for a full-time 12-month non-tenure track faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor in Audiology beginning as early as January 1, 2026. All and intersecting areas of expertise into basic and applied aspects of communication sciences and disorders will be considered, including but not limited to audiologic assessment, pediatric and adult hearing care, aural habilitation / rehabilitation, and hearing assistive technology (HAT). The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing ( http : / / splh.ku.edu / ) expects its faculty to contribute to the mission and goals of the Department and School in the areas of teaching, scholarship, service and practice.

• Includes clinical audiological instruction each fall, spring, and summer for undergraduate and graduate students
• Advising and mentoring students in coursework as an academic advisor and a member of AuD research project committees, when appropriate. Includes development and review of Comprehensive Examination questions related to coursework and expertise for the year one and year two examinations.
• University teaching is at least one course per year
