Manual Machinist (2nd Shift) - Cleveland, OH - JOB 24-
Hourly Rate : $25.25 - $27.17 / HR ($1.50 shift premium) Permanent Position with Benefits.
Cleveland Manufacturing Company is seeking a Manual Machinist for their 2 nd Shift operations. Operate manual machines; lathes, mills, surface grinders, band saws and drill presses.
REQUIREMENTS :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 4-year Class A apprenticeship
- 1-2 years' work experience beyond the apprenticeship
- Knowledge of blueprint reading
- Knowledge of tool room equipment
- Knowledge in the use of precision instruments
- Demonstrated math skills
- Knowledge of metal properties and abrasives
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process at overview level
- Knowledge of mechanical processes
- Shift hours - 3 : 30pm - 12 : 00am - OT as needed
DUTIES :
- Operating electronic or other machinery
- Regulating speed of machinery (other than transport)
- Adjusting machines
- Setting up equipment or machinery for operation
- Cleaning or oiling machinery
- Adjusting focus of visual device
- Operating machine controls (other than transport)
- Stopping machinery at precise point indicated
- Examine machinery / equipment to check working order
- Regular checking of machinery for maintenance
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
