We are currently seeking the right individual to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Assisted Living neighborhood.
Full-Time Monday - Friday with rotating weekends.
9 : 00AM - 5 : 30PM
As an LPN, with Touchmark, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in our Assisted Living neighborhood receive the highest level of dignity and care.
You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
As the LPN, you will support our nursing team in coordinating all clinical care and ensuring the residents receive the highest quality of care.
Additionally, this role assists in training, mentoring and onboarding Med Techs. Working in a long-term care community provides you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and team members through daily interactions.
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will :
- Have a genuine interest in caring for aging residents and working in a geriatric environment
- Possess a current LPN license in the state of Washington
- Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident
Responsibilities :
- Help oversee, mentor and coach the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions
- Provide hands-on nursing care for residents residing in Assisted Living
- Assess the health status of residents, as needed, and work with the nursing team and health services team to develop and review individualized service plans
- Develop trust and strong communication with family members to be able to provide information and insight related to the resident’s health and well-being
- Work in collaboration with our sale’s team during tours to help promote the benefits of living at Touchmark through unique programming and care
