About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (06 : 00 - 16 : 30 and 07 : 30 - 18 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years required, with at least one prior travel assignment License : Valid state license required;
compact or specific state licenses may vary Certifications : ARRT or NMTCB, BLS required Must-Have : Completion of a certified CT program or equivalent CT experience, and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy Job Description : Perform CAT Scan radiology studies including CT techniques and examinations- Conduct abdominal, retroperitoneal, obstetrics and gynecology scans- Facilitate radiation therapy localization for treatment planning and minor surgical procedures- Manage IV access and contrast injections according to departmental policy- Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered- Ensure quality images and operate equipment as directed- Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity- Comply with facility requirements including flu vaccinations- May have contact with COVID patients- Utilize Cerner for charting- Participate in a 28-hour orientation and complete relevant modules pre-start and potentially during orientation
