American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is dedicated to the success of businesses big and small with the vision to be essential to our customers’ businesses every day.

As part of the Small Business Products and Blueprint organization, the Card Digital Features and Innovation team is responsible for the strategy and product management of new Card-linked features within the Small Business digital ecosystem.

The goal of the team is to define and deliver the next generation of digital tools and experiences that address the Card customer’s spend management needs and digital experience expectations, which will require a comprehensive set of connected capabilities across both existing and new assets.

The team sits in a highly cross-functional group and is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and engagement of customers with new and emerging offerings.

Operating in an innovative and experimental space, this individual will shape the future of some of the most critical opportunity areas for the Commercial business, which we believe will bolster our market-leading position as the top issuer in the US Commercial Market.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Lead the product strategy for spend management, virtual card, and other Card-linked digital innovations, supporting the definition of both the long-term vision and near-term priorities
  • Maintain a focus on customer needs through research, feedback, and competitive analysis
  • Project manage a broad working group of Development, Design, Tech, Marketing, and Servicing partners to design, build, and launch new features in-market
  • Lead the relationship with key Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Risk partners, identifying the known risks and corresponding controls, and shepherding the team through review and approval processes
  • Define key performance metrics and maintain reporting routines to monitor the success and health of in-market features and experiences
  • Work in proximity with Card and Blueprint leadership to keep teams updated on strategy, build and go-to-market progress, and business impact

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in a strategy, product management, or digital product
  • Structured, creative thinker who loves to solve complex business problems
  • Customer-first mentality with knowledge of B2B customer needs
  • Ability to scale up on complex topics and pivot thinking with new information
  • Experience handling a product’s business metrics and owning results
  • Collaborative partner with strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills
  • Above average communication skills and demonstrated confidence presenting and debating ideas with colleagues at all levels
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to execute independently and flawlessly
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and strategic recommendations
  • NYC-based position (hybrid) with occasional travel
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience

Salary Range : $99,100.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
