Caseload : Elementary and Middle School, 20 Students

We are actively seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a full-time position in Windsor, CT, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
This role involves working with a caseload of 20 students across elementary and middle school levels, providing individualized support to help them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to support the academic and emotional growth of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Active Special Education teaching license in Connecticut (CT).
- Experience with elementary and / or middle school students is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
