Job Summary :

Our client is seeking an AS400 Developer to join their team! This position is remote.

Duties :

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform using RPG IV / ILE, CL, and SQL
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Perform system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Support and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and other developers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Maintain technical documentation and provide user support and training as needed

Desired Skills / Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in AS400 / iSeries development
  • Proficiency in RPG IV / ILE, CL, and DB2 / 400
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle
  • Experience with data modeling and performance tuning on DB2 / 400
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • The approximate pay range for this position is between $32.13 and $45.90 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
