We are currently seeking a Business development & sales professional to help us expand into new markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce, retail and wholesale sales.
They will be responsible for identifying potential partners for each of our 4 individual toy brands and building relationships with buyers that will help move our companies to the next level! This opportunity has the resources and backing of the entire digital marketing team and designers.
You will be responsible for : A.) developing and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities, B.) setting and executing the strategy for achieving new business growth, and C.
coordinating with internal resources to close new business opportunities. It is expected that the Business Development Lead will achieve these goals by : D) trade shows
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers
Maintaining new business lead pipeline in CRM
Meet regularly with existing customers and new business prospects
Actively identify new business opportunities
Essential Job Functions
Role and Responsibilities
Develop new customers, markets, and programs
Identify and develop new opportunities for the company through the operation of an effective lead generation program and sales pipeline
Personally facilitate and close sales opportunities
Develop and oversee a superbly functioning sales representative network
Develop BPS Sales Best Practices and key selling materials to inform, assist, and drive outside rep activity and success.
Continue to track success and improve on these key materials in order to improve effectiveness.
Ensure that the organization supports the external representative activities
Implement a representative control program. Elements will include metric tracking and performance management.
Identify and recruit new representatives as required to expand coverage or replace non-performing partners.
Provide the sales and leadership for the company
Provide strategic advice to the marketing and merchandising teams for the purpose of developing pricing strategies and investment decisions based on market conditions and company position and performance.
Ensure that the company operates with a customer focus.
Develop and maintain KPIs for all sales activity.
Execute the sales organization administrative functions
