About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30);
Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30), rotating shifts Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg experience required License : Valid compact or state license Certifications : BCLS and ACLS required Must-Have : - Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation- Experience with EPIC required- Cardiac experience preferred Job Description : Provide high-quality care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.- Work weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays as required.
Please note : Compliance requirements include completing fingerprinting promptly after contract signing. Traveling nurses must be aware of these and be cooperative with credentialing procedures to avoid any delays.
Nurses must come from accredited programs (ACEN or CCNE).
