About the Position :
The State Sales Manager will support the Division Sales Manager and Regional Vice President of Sales with the annual sales plan.
This role is responsible for managing sales resources to achieve sales plan execution, identifying sales initiatives, local on and off premise spends, point of sale, tastings, menus, and T & E and other sales solicitation support activities as necessary.
Our ideal candidate will be ready to become an expert of the Tito’s Handmade Vodka brand and be able to successfully manage all aspects of annual plan execution with their given area.
Location : Must be located in Orange County or Los Angeles County
Essential Functions :
- Develop and maintain sales relationships with all major customers and new prospects; effectively interacts and partners with all distributor roles
- Manages, coaches, and directs state sales organization for goal attainment through merchandising, use of sales-related systems, brand standards, sharing brand story, effective merchandising, compliance, and all selling tools such as profit calculator’ and three-part pricing
- Monitor sales goals and distributor KPIs, motivate and train distributor sales teams on sales strategies of Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- Solicit and support sales solicitation in the assigned region
- Sell and execute annual sales plans that deliver company goal
- Oversee execution of local sales efforts addressing opportunities to drive sales
- Conduct sales meetings with distributor team as needed
- Assist National Account Sales Managers on and off premise with leads and fresh regional sales programming
- Provide assistance in the maintenance of sales pricing strategy, Distributor inventory monitoring, sales depletion reporting, and report sales quality concerns in designated state(s), as appropriate.
- Oversee execution of sampling activity to drive sales and educate sales associates on sales solicitation of products.
- Any and all additional activities necessary to support sales solicitation in the region.
Minimum Requirements :
- Minimum 4 years of beverage alcohol sales experience; and 10 years of sales experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to provide expert-level insights into more complex channel markets
- Ability to coach / train / motivate / influence
- Analytical skills / strategic vision
- Pricing analysis proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with company executives, team members, vendors, customers and consumers, in person, via telephone and email or other written correspondence
- Computer proficiency required in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as iDig / KARMA software for review of distribution, depletion and shipment reports
- Must have a valid US Driver’s License, safe driving record and access to a reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes

Compensation & Benefits :
- $105,000 - $150,000 + Bonus Plan
