Job Description
Our DOTS Sales Associates help to achieve Trek’s Mission by providing incredible hospitality to our customers and changing the world by getting more people on bikes.
From the moment our customers arrive in our parking lot to when they leave on their bicycles or drive away, our Sales Associates are our guides, taking our customers through everything they need to accomplish their cycling goals, keep their bicycles performing as designed, and ensuring they will have a great experience on their rides.
Performance expectations :
Achieve individual daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals as prescribed by Store Manager (quantity and quality) of at least $400,000 annually for full-time Sales Associates through face-to-face interactions with customers in the store and working the store’s Book of Business;
including Open Layaways, Quotes and Lead Lists.
- Use our Guide Sales Process to provide our customers with incredible hospitality.
- Develop your sales and hospitality skills through training, role-playing and on-the-job experience.
- Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing Trek U modules to further your knowledge of our technology products, services, and procedures.
- Participate in daily huddles and consistent sales debriefs throughout the day.
- When not actively taking care of customers or working the store’s Book of Business, you will be helping to :
o Complete Daily Task List assignments.
o Maintain organization and cleanliness of all FOH / BOH areas within the business.
o Maintain all aspects of store merchandising according to the visual merchandising standards, including product placement, price auditing, and product re-stocking.
o Complete weekly Cycle Counts.
o Receive product and restock the sales floor.
o Assemble, or pre-assemble, new bicycles.
o Prep customer bikes for service by our Service or Production Technicians.
o Complete additional miscellaneous tasks and duties as prescribed by the Manager on Duty.
