Our client is seeking a Product Specialist with expertise in Analytical Instrumentation for their expanding team.
As a Product Specialist in Analytical Instrumentation, you will provide sales support by conducting feasibility studies and addressing customer inquiries regarding product lines such as density, viscosity, refractometry, polarimetry, and volatility.
This role is focused on the Southern region and you will report to the Business Unit Sales Manager. The position is based in Houston, TX.
The salary for this position ranges from $64,000 to $72,500 per year depending on experience. As part of our client's comprehensive benefits package, you will also be eligible for a profit sharing contribution to your 401k retirement savings, an anniversary bonus of $10,000 every five years, and additional bonus opportunities.
Key responsibilities :
- Conducting and evaluating feasibility studies for sample measurements.
- Providing installations, training, and technical support.
- Troubleshooting issues and interpreting data.
- Representing the company at conferences and trade shows.
- Availability for frequent overnight travel (approximately 40%-60%).
Skills and qualifications required :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytical instruments or related methods.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills to interact with diverse clients, including scientists, university professors, and CEOs.
- Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or material science.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
