Summary / Objective
RegisteredBehavior Technicians (RBT s) are professionals who have completed aminimum of a 40hour intensive theory training in Applied BehaviorAnalysis (ABA) have successfully passed a competency assessmentadministered by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) andreceived a passing score on the RBT exam through the BehaviorAnalyst Certification Board in order to become a RBT.
All Behaviortechnicians provide educational andbehavioral services for children with autism by implementingApplied Behavior Analysis methodologies and are continually supervised by an agency BCBA on a weekly basisand engage in behavior analytic professional developmentactivities.
Behavior technicians are responsible for the directimplementation of skillacquisition and behaviorreduction plansdeveloped by the BCBA.
The Behavior technicians may also collectdata and conduct behavior skill acquisition programs under thesupervision of a BCBA.
The Behavior technician is not responsiblefor the designing of interventions conducting indepth assessmentsor developing skill acquisition or behavior reduction plans.
It isthe responsibility of the designated BCBA supervisor of theBehavior Consultants to determine which tasks a Behavior technicianmay perform as a function of his or her training experience andcompetence.
The designated BCBA supervisor is ultimatelyresponsible for the work performed by the Behavior technician.*Triangle ABA offers paidtraining*

Completeprogram writing and maintain client s program book eachsession
Workwith Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement individualizedtreatmentplans
Collectdata and graph data asinstructed
Maintainrespect and confidentiality for allclients
Maintainprofessional and technical knowledge by attending educationalworkshops; reviewing professional publications; establishingpersonal networks;
and participating in professionalsocieties
Maintainand protect the wellbeing of all clients during treatment sessionsand when emergency crisis situationsarise
Maintainsa professional demeanor with clients parents and otherprofessionals in thefield.
Providesinformation by answering questions andrequests
Providesinhome community and school educational and behavioralsupport.
Contributesto team effort by accomplishing related results asneeded

Renderssessions within Central reach within 24hrs of session with anattached sessionnote
Proficientin ABA teaching methodologies such as Errorless Learning FirstTrial Data and Discrete Trial Training during directintervention.

Thisis a fulltime position and hours of work and days are Mondaythrough Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be requiredas job duties demand .
