Ian's Pizza on Frances Street downtown is in the heart of the University of Madison campus, just a block off of State Street. Tens of thousands of college students put Ian's on the map over the years as their first stop after last call. A stop at Ian's is a tradition for twenty-somes and wannabe twenty-somes, too.

• Minimum Guaranteed Wage of $16 / hour : At the end of the pay period, if your base wage ($10.50 / hour + $2 / hour additional for any time after 10pm) and tips have not averaged to at least $16 / hour, we will pay the rest. You are guaranteed to earn at least $16 / hour minimum, but you can earn more than that! Most average $16-$20 / hour. Tips are paid at the end of each shift, and all other wages are paid on your paycheck (biweekly).

Front-of-house Expectations

Your role will be to serve customers while also keeping up with cleaning and stocking tasks. You'll be greeting customers, tossing salads, slinging slices into the finishing ovens, and ringing people up. You'll also be answering phones and entering orders into our system for pick-ups and deliveries. You'll have an awesome team by your side, so even when things get hectic, you'll have backup. And let's talk about the tips - they'll have you swimming in dough!

Front-of-house Availability

Ian's at 319 N Frances St is currently open daily from 11am-2 : 30am. Opening shifts typically start 1-2 hours before opening, and closing shifts typically end 1-2 hours after closing.

Our restaurants are most busy on evenings and weekends, so availability for these shifts is strongly preferred. We do require availability for 1 late night shift (10pm-4am) a week, with preferred availability for 2 late night shifts a week if you are looking for those shifts Sunday-Thursday. If you are looking for full-time hours, your availability should be mostly open and flexible.

Part-time (anywhere in the 15-30 hours a week range) or full-time (30-40 hours a week) is available. We'll try our hardest to give you the hours and shifts you want, but we can't promise the same schedule every week. For full-timers though, we'll make sure you average 30-40 hours each week to ensure your health and dental benefits eligibility.
