Position Summary

The Assistant Development Engineer will conduct research in the area of in-vivo optical imaging. Responsibilities include handling of animal protocols, preparation of ex-vivo and in-vivo bio-samples, interpretation of the results, writing, and communication with other lab members. Experience in in-vivo animal imaging, immunostaining, microscopy, cell culture, software-based analysis are preferred.

Salary & Compensation

Qualifications

In-vivo animal handling Expert skills in handling small animals like performing surgery andanesthesia (Required)

Cell culture Maintain mammalian cell culture (Required)

Immunohistochemistry andmicroscopy Experience in immunostaining of cells and histological samples;fluorescence microscopy (Preferred)

Writing and communications skills, for laboratory protocols, weekly report, presentations, and publications. (Required)

Demonstrated communication skills to explain procedures and impart technical information to others in a understandable manner (Required)

Organized, detail oriented and a team player. (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

Master's Degree in Biology, Bioengineering, or related field (Preferred) And

Bachelor's Degree in related area and / or equivalent combination of education and experience / training (Required)
