The Resource Nurse serves as the primary support for clinical staff, acting as the go-to person for guidance and assistance.
This role involves facilitating education, implementing new workflows, and ensuring smooth transitions in patient care. Additionally, the Resource Nurse is responsible for nurse triage, conducting nurse visits, and efficiently rooming patients to enhance workflow and patient experience.
Schedule Details : Monday through Friday 8am - 5pmSummaryReporting to the Practice Manager, and / or Clinical Leader, and under the direction of the provider, delivers patient care including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation;
provides training to clinical staff and is recognized as a resource to clinical and administrative staff.EducationTwo years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.
g., Associates Degree).Certification, Registration & LicensureLicensure required : Registered Nurse Licensure through the State of New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
Certification required : Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR / AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.
ExperienceMinimum of one year as a Registered Nurse in a medical or acute-care setting.Responsibilities* Coordinates educational and training programs for all clinical staff.
- Develops and implements clinical protocols and work flows.* Performs both physical and psychosocial assessments.* Triages patient phone calls.
- Documents into the patient electronic medical record.* Provides education to patients.* Administers prescribed medications.
