About the Job

The Pediatric Hematology / Oncology division is searching for a lead physician to continue to run a hospital-wide program in Pediatric Health, Wellbeing and Integrative Medicine.

The appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The candidate will be responsible for representing a program that is patient focused and offers numerous integrative and traditional therapies including healing touch, aromatherapy, acupuncture and acupressure, music therapy, art therapy and nature-based therapy.

This position will have a major consultative role within the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and will conduct outpatient services as well.

The candidate for this position will also be committed to the academic advancement of research in the area of integrative health and an academic partner across the Department of Pediatrics.

The program has active collaborations within the University and external to the University that the candidate would be expected to maintain and enhance over time.

This appointment will be held in the Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota.

Qualifications

Required / Preferred Qualifications : Essential qualifications : Board Eligibility or Board Certification in pediatrics or a pediatric sub-specialty is required and candidates with formal training within the areas of integrative medicine and / or experience in the development of a similar program are preferred.
