This role is primarily On-Site, with flexibility at hiring manager discretion.

What You Will Do

You will work with other experienced members in R&D on system development and deployments for the protection of our country

You need excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work autonomously yet collaboratively in a team environment

You will generate briefings and present material to team members, customers, and RTX Management as necessary

You will be an integral part of a team that makes decisions and generates ideas that will push products above and beyond

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws / regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

5+ years of experience with systems integration, test execution, and test results documentation

5+ years of experience working with customers, end users, hardware design teams, and software design teams

5+ years of experience with Linux

Ability to travel as needed ( 25%)

Qualifications We Prefer

Active Top Secret or TS / SCI Clearance on Day 1 Preferred

Experience with telecommunication standards and processing techniques

Experience developing training courses and training others

Experience generating of test scripts to automate integration

Experience developing system level designs, high level control and data interfaces

Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or Bash

Experience with Ansible, Rocky / CentOS, and Kickstart

Experience formalizing, developing and writing requirements, plans, and procedures based on customer discussions, briefings, interactions, and statements of work

Experience recognizing areas of improvement or customer needs and relaying them to senior staff as business development possibilities

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
