About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : CVOR Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (05 : 00 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : 2+ years required License : Valid KY or compact license Certifications : AHA certified Must-Have : Flu Vaccine (Medical / Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed) Job Description : Serve as a CVOR Registered Nurse providing specialized care.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 1.- Not open to first-time applicants; experienced professionals required.- Rotating weekend shifts required.
- On-call duties necessary; must stay within 30 minutes of the facility for call requirements.- No floating within scope to meet facility needs;
dedicated to the heart team.- Shift schedule is 5 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, three days a week with no block schedule.- Average of two on-call days during the week, with additional on-call responsibilities during scheduled weekends.
- Rotating weekends every second or third weekend depending on staffing needs.- Expected to stay and complete ongoing cases, with call person required to complete the last case of the day.
- Familiarity with Meditech preferred; required in emergency situations.- Completion of 16 hours of orientation.
