OVERVIEW :
Opportunity to lead financial planning and analysis for a $4B operating unit that’s home to some of the company’s most iconic brands including Cheerios, Yoplait, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Lucky Charms.
This role reports directly to the Director of Financial Operations (DFO) and will play a critical role in leading our planning & strategic processes for the Op Unit (including monthly / annual PEAK processes, financial Plan, and operating unit communications).
This role also directly manages a Consumer & Volume Analyst and has high exposure to the both the Morning Foods leadership team and the North American Retail Finance leadership team.
We are looking for an individual who can proactively identify business trends and steward the operating unit in creating plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
This role is the primary liaison with the NAR (North American Retail) Central P&A Team, which provides opportunities to collaborate / influence P&A Leads across NAR.
Key development opportunities include : coaching and mentoring your direct team, influencing across the enterprise, and flexing your communication skills.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Lead monthly financial estimate and annual planning processes
- Actively orchestrate the OU Management Business Review (MBR) and Demand Planning (DR) meetings to ensure focus on the most critical priorities
- Deliver accurate forecasts through deep understanding of both the commercial and financial aspects of the business and leadership across the P&L
- Provide clear, concise summaries of business performance to key stakeholders including NAR P&A and Investor Relations
- Directly manage / develop the Consumer & Volume Analyst
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related Business field
- 7 years of relevant finance experience
- Strong bias for action, exercises judgement, and demonstrates an ability to deliver results
- Experience governing key financial processes
- Exceptional business partnership, influence and communication skills
- Unquestioned ability to maintain strong fiduciary responsibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Previous experience working within a segment or business unit of a corporate finance structure
- Previous experience with planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Working knowledge of GMI Finance systems (SAP, AFO, Tableau, Hyperion or OneStream)

International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $106800.00 - $160300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role.
The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc.
