DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : (not limited to)
Conduct project job walks
Manages bid review and bid closing
Participate in the General Contractor proposal and interview process
Manage project budget and scope
Prepare, monitor, and update Master Schedule
Identify potential project impacts and proposed solutions
Run weekly OAC meetings
Manages, motivates, teaches, and mentors team
Develops plans for project start-up and kick-off
Ensures work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable, and safe manner
Provide excellent customer service to develop long-term partnerships with a client base
Ensures accurate construction reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance
Manages the flow of critical information to all team members in a timely manner
Develops strategies to deliver projects on time and within budget
Manages pre-construction with clients in order to achieve construction budget
Advises on Value Engineering opportunities for potential cost savings
Provide opportunities to anticipate potential problems, facilitate innovative approaches, nurture relationships, and create a positive work environment
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Must possess a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience with involvement in Project Management
Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects concurrently
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with Owners, Architects, Construction Managers, Landlords, Facility Managers, End Users, etc.,
Able to create and support team morale
LEED GA or AP preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Sage, Bluebeam Revu, Plangrid
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
