Janitorial Worker
Summary of the position :
TheJanitorial Worker is responsible for ensuring the cleanlinessand
hygiene of our facilities. This position is crucial tocreating a positive and
welcoming atmosphere for ourcongregation visitors and staff. The ability
to operatewith a high level of independence initiative and attentionto
detail is required.
II.Experience and Knowledge Required :
Minimum of two yearsof commercial cleaning
Strong attention to detail and acommitment to maintaining a high
standard ofcleanliness
Knowledge of safety and sanitationguidelines
Proven track record of effective timemanagement
Experience in problemsolving
Abilityto handle multiple projects effectively
Ability to learnand use RockRMS software
Exceptional interpersonal verbalwritten and organizational skills
Projects a professionalimage able to handle a fastpaced environment
Steadypositive attitude peopleoriented team player customerserviceminded
Flexibility in working hours includingevenings weekends and holidays
Strong work ethiccommitment to excellence
III. EssentialFunctions and Responsibilities :
Perform routine cleaningtasks including but not limited to sweeping
mopping andsanitizing surfaces
Clean and maintain restrooms to meethealth and safety standards
Empty and dispose of trashreceptacles
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies asneeded
Ability to build and lead a team ofvolunteers for regular janitorial services as well as eventcoverage
Other duties as assigned by theFacilities Manager
