Overview
Role : Respiratory Therapist
Salary : $24-$28 / hr
Location : Orlando Florida

Our Physicians are board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. We are affiliated with the finest hospitals throughout Central Florida, and we are on call 24-hours a day to handle emergencies.
General Purpose
Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapist Manager, the Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the skilled and competent delivery of Respiratory Care Services ordered by our physicians in accordance with established protocols.
Job Type
We are currently hiring two Registered Respiratory Therapist for our downtown location.
This position is full-time only .
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Receives work assignments and prioritize workload effectively to maximize number of procedures performed.
- Completes all assigned work within a specific time frame.
- Performs Pulmonary Function according to department Protocol.
- Testing includes, but is not limited to :
- Noninvasive BIPAP / CPAP therapy
- Pulse oximetry for oxygen titration
- Administration and monitoring of all respiratory and therapeutic modalities which include aerosolized medications, sputum inductions, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas sampling and analyses.
Education and Experience
- Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Program
- Current Florida Respiratory Therapy License (CRT or RRT)
- Current BLS card issued by the American Heart Association
- While experience is a plus, no experience is required on the job training is available
Knowledge and Training
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Candidate must demonstrate abilities in healthcare business operations
- Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and initiative
- Above average computer skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours (especially during start-up phase)
- Team player attitude and willingness to make active contributions to the team
