A social services organization in Los Angeles is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to support their growing team.
About the opportunity :
- Schedule : Monday to Friday
- Hours : Standard business
- Setting : office-based (role is 100% onsite)
Responsibilities :
The Nurse Practitioner will :
- Assess, diagnose, and treat the healthcare needs of women throughout their lifespan.
- Provide contraceptive counseling and care.
- Counsel and provide care before and after menopause.
- Provide health screening for risk assessment of adults and children dealing with general medical, chronic diseases and HIV / AIDS risk assessment and risk reduction.
- Refer clients to appropriate primary care and specialty care in partnership with case management staff.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in nursing
- Licensed in CA to practice as a WHNP
- 2+ years experience in women's health or community health
Desired Skills :
- Bilingual in Spanish
