The Assistant Account Manager ensures customer satisfaction, account retention, and strong employee relations. Responsibilities include scheduling work, setting standards, conducting audits, managing inventory and budget, troubleshooting, training staff, ensuring safety compliance, handling customer relations, and special projects.

This role ensures all services are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Expense Management : Control janitorial operation expenses, review job costs, and adjust to meet budgets.
• Quality Assurance : Maintain high service delivery standards.
• Record Keeping : Maintain employee personnel records.
• Operational Oversight : Supervise janitorial operations across all shifts.
• Process Implementation : Establish and maintain workflow standards.
• Compliance : Ensure environmental procedures comply with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience : 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
• Planning Skills : Ability to forecast productivity, staffing, and budget needs, and implement corrective actions.
• Client Focus : Commitment to client satisfaction and quality, with strong client communication skills.
• Leadership : Experience in coaching, motivating, and leading a team.
• HR Knowledge : Understanding of HR policies, staffing, employee relations, training, safety, and succession planning.
• Communication : Strong communication skills.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Minimum Requirements

• Education : BA / BS degree.
