Job Title : Journeyman Electrician
Detroit, MI $36 / hr
Job Description
Candidates will be expected to do service work and repairs on facility equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, making necessary repairs, working on rooftops and within the facility, climbing ladders, and using lifts.
The role will involve working on all electrical repairs.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician Experience (Need to be card-carrying).
- Troubleshooting, Installations and making repairs
- Program PLC's, VFDs and other controls hardware.
- Use specialized tools and instruments to troubleshoot, repair, and program electrical equipment.
- Have a working knowledge of the NEC code and NFPA 70E, its interpretation and implementation.
- Troubleshoot control systems throughout the plant and make repairs as required.
Shifts
For the next couple of weeks, new hires will be expected to work a weekend shift from Friday-Monday either day or night
Monday - Friday
1st shift 6 : 00 am-2 : 30 pm
2nd shift 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 30pm
3rd shift 10 : 00 pm - 6 : 30 am
