We are currently looking for an experienced delivery driver to join our Team.

The minimum hours required are 20, but we could collaborate with you to schedule your hours up to 40. We are paid weekly via direct deposit, every Wednesday. Our HSA health care plan is only $12 / week for an individual. The company pays 90% of your health care premiums. While we are Employee owned, we also have a 401K plan. In our ESOP plan, after one year of service, you are awarded stock that vests over the course of five years to augment your retirement planning. Another fun fact about our benefits is that the first year you work, you will accrue your PTO. On your anniversary date, after one year of service, your PTO will be deposited in a lump sum for you to schedule no more waiting for it to accrue to plan that family trip. If you are interested in working more than 20 hours / week, the balance of your week would be working in our shop assisting our millworkers and cabinet makers.

A Day in The Life

You will begin your day at 6 : 00am with most of your truck pre-loaded from the previous day. On a normal day, our drivers can expect to deliver material to 1-3 site locations. The products you will deliver, and unload are custom architectural millwork. Items are blanket wrapped for safe keeping. This is NOT palletized freight or unloading 60,000 lbs. on two-wheel trucks. After your route is complete, you will join the team in the warehouse and help load trucks for the following day.

Qualifications

• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the greater Mpls / St. Paul metro area.
• Drive a straight truck (24 foot) under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles.
• Load truck. (blanket wrap & secure load efficiently)
• Unload truck, (dock and lift gate deliveries to customer)
• Delivering products to customer locations at scheduled times.
• Operating the delivery vehicles in a safe and lawful manner.
• Responsible for the vehicle, its contents & refueling.
• This position requires considerable responsibility to function independently and to ensure accuracy, timeliness, completeness and superior customer service.
• Clean driving record (MVR) and Medical Examiner's Certificate
