Onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Near Ground Mound, WA
Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district near Ground Mound, WA.
This part-time position involves providing essential speech and language services to elementary students, with a caseload of 30-35 students, and includes case managing students' IEPs who are speech only.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students with various speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Case manage students' IEPs who are speech only, ensuring compliance and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication development.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Washington state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite for 21-24 hours per week from August 27, 2024, to June 9, 2025.
