The Joyce Stock Snuggery at Glens Falls Hospital is the area's leading family-focused birthing center. The Snuggery has 2 OB practices with midwives and obstetricians covering Labor & Deliver 24 / 7.

Unit Details : of Beds : 20

Snuggery : Level 1

Patient census : average 90-100 deliveries per month

EMR : EPIC

• Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections
• Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
• A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside

Dress Code : Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Non-Billable Orientation : 8hrs

Multipliers (OT, Vacation, Call-Back) : 1.25%

2+ years current L&D / LDRP experience

2+ years Post Partum experience

Must be able to care for laboring mothers

Mother / Baby experience

All certificates active & current

Ability to read & interpret EFM

Travel experience encouraged

Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
