Leidos is hiring multiple Systems Engineers in the Ft. Meade area, MD. All opportunities require an active TS / SCI with Polygraph.

Program Summary

Leidos is a preferred subcontractor on a large, multi-year contract that develops, integrates deploys, and sustains large collection systems.

The work is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies.

Significant requirements include Mission Management, Operations, and Sustainment activities. The team will provide 24x7x365 support to multiple Operations Teams and will feature 1st / 2nd / 3rd Party Partner Engagement.

Job Summary

The Systems Engineer will serve as the TTO Site Engineer performing remote maintenance and refresh efforts for 8 sites. Performs daily interaction with partner entities.

The Engineer will need extensive experience in Linux and Ciena to support with system administration, troubleshooting, loading software, configuration of telecom network and software packages.

Needs knowledge of cables and collection systems. The work requires a thorough understanding of data flow. The Engineer will engage SMEs, perform data validation once software is deployed, submit DMRs for data flow path problems / fixes, configure new software updates, and perform troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS / SCI with Polygraph
• BA and 14+ years' Systems Engineer experience OR 19 years of Systems Engineer experience without a BS degree
• Experience in NiFi and Linux

Pay Range : Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
