About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Adult Services Job Specialty : Step Down Unit (SDU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shift, 07 : 00 PM to 07 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have : - Experience with Cardiac Rhythm Recognition Job Description : - Provide specialized nursing care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general care.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and provide appropriate care and intervention. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care and condition accurately. - Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and care procedures.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients. - Adhere to professional standards and hospital policies. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
